Intended Audience
Nurses at all levels will find this information helpful and relevant, but it will be particularly valuable for the novice researcher. There are no prerequisites.

Learning Objectives
1. Define basic statistical terms.
2. Discuss ethical issues specific to conducting research.
3. Describe the levels of evidence from research studies.
4. Describe measurement concepts.
5. Describe appropriate statistical tests for various research designs.
