Transcatheter Closure of Patent Ductus Arteriosus in Premature Babies Less Than 2kg: 1 CE

Transcather PDA closure is a safe procedure performed in patients >700gm with minimal recovery time and low morbidity post-procedure. This procedure is now possible in extremely low birth weight babies due to new FDA approved devices. As an interventional cardiologist I would like to educate staff involved in the day to day care of these patients, to identify timing for referral and what to expect from the procedure.
